I saw some like slugs outside today so I went and got the salt and gave them a shake - nothing happened. I went back a few minutes later, still no foaming and dying. I gingerly touched them and they turned out to be leaves all folded up - looking like slugs. Georgia said, "You've lived in Oregon too long."
